What are you looking for? It is the question Jesus asks of the disciples in the first chapter of John’s Gospel. They never really answer Jesus, instead asking their own question: “Rabbi, where are you staying?” Jesus doesn’t really answer their question either, instead inviting them deeper into the questions.
Aren’t we confronted with the same question? When it comes to your spiritual journey, what are you looking for? When it comes to being a part of this St. Luke’s community, what are you looking for? In this series we will explore this question through six themes: questions, grace, belonging, change, inclusive relationship, home. These themes point to who we are and where we’re headed; they help us better engage the question: What are you looking for?
